The silent pain and anguish of Mother Nature!

Mother Nature which provides human with their main life line i.e. oxygen is being destroyed by none other but by human itself. There is famous saying from our ancestor that ‘Beware of cutting off the branch on which you sit’ which was religiously followed as well. Today where everyone is racing against the time to accumulate greater wealth or to fight it out for managing daily needs, they do have silent concern for current destruction which is being done to nature on daily basis. But though having sober idea to cease further destruction to nature however unfortunately no time to execute any of the plans. Further to this, industrial capitalist has come up with fine marketing idea to promote proverbs ‘The trees that bears sweetest fruits gets maximum stones’ to divert and justify that nature destruction which has taken place had no way out to be saved.

Well human have no time but Mother Nature has its own ways to remind us in form of harsh anguish. Tsunami, Earthquakes, Droughts, Floods, Hurricane Sandy, and the superstorms such as Katrina. Haboobs are to name few. One might can question that the above mentioned natural calamity were happening in past as well so why these exaggeration now? Yes, we all agrees that these calamity had occurred in past and has caused similar destruction but due to current rapid rise of greenhouse effect is causing them to happen almost twice or thrice in every five year. This is not going to stop here as these is are not just acts of nature, they are products of a massive theft of the atmospheric layers caused by us.

Now controlling and preventing nature destruction is not rocket science but it needs government and people participation. If we ponder around the difficulties we are going to face than we will never be able to make change. What can we do is to make a start at our level. We have to step out of our virtual digital world and form groups to take responsibility to plant and nurture flowers and trees at least around our surrounding. Plant trees and maintain them on the road divider nearby our companies along with corporate participation. Believe me only tough task here is about taking the first step to unfold the ideas however remaining every other things will fall in line. It is time taking process but coming out in organized and systematic way will surely keep it going even if you move from one place to another. Slowly we will find ourselves more satisfied then we are today, we will get the rain which used to be there and today we dream of when we feel the climate change heat.

“If what I say resonates with you, it is merely because we are both branches on the same tree.”
W. B. Yeats

It is always told that education will make difference and we are the educated class than why we are shying away from making a start or giving support to people who already involved in doing similar activities. Let’s give a thought to this idea and find if any group exists in our society and join them or create one by ourselves. I am sure we will be able to find out at least 4 days a month to help prevent nature and give our coming generation better environment and similar clubs to carry out planting and maintain trees and flowers.

The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago. The second best time is now.”
